HD Application Updates
Several existing HDinHD resources have been updated this month, and ties between the underlying data has been strengthened.
- The HD Molecular Signature Database (HDSigDB) now contains >1,900 gene sets
derived from human, mouse, rat, fly and yeast studies. The cumulative data is available
for download as both Human and Mouse GSEA-compliant GMT libraries, suitable for
gene set enrichment analysis. A Web browser providing query and filter capabilities has been updated, providing access to rich meta-data curated for each set. - HDinHD now contains information on 32 ‘omics-wide treatment studies within the HD context.
- HDinHD’s collection of HD mouse models described at The Jackson Laboratory, Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI) and the A Field Guide to Working with Mouse Models of Huntington’s Disease now contains >100 distinct mouse models.
- Meta-data for these HD-centric resources include provenance (via specific links to
GEO, PRIDE, PubMed, Jackson Labs and MGI) and important experimental data
curated from the applicable sources. Additionally, through further curation and
annotation, HDinHD has improved the internal connections from curated mouse
experiments to the underlying HD mouse models.
